University of Tennessee School of Music Open House
The School of Music will be holding an Open House on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Registration begins at 1:30 outside room 32, Alumni Memorial Bldg.
We will be opening our doors to students who want to major or minor in music and are interested in learning more about our programs, ensembles, and the possibility of applying and auditioning for entrance into the School of Music.
High school students, transfer students, and parents are invited to come and learn more about what the UT School of Music has to offer. Teachers are also invited and encouraged to attend.
The program for the afternoon (see schedule) will include:
- Performances by UT School of Music ensembles
- Meetings with our faculty
- Panel discussions on degree programs, auditions, scholarships, UT admissions, financial aid, and housing
Juniors may come early and go to the University of Tennessee Volunteer Day on Saturday, April 6, 2013 to learn all about UT admissions. All students are invited to stay in town and experience some of our music classes first hand on Monday, April 8.
