Cultivating Singing in the Choral Ensemble
and General Music Classroom
A workshop for teachers of singing and choirs in elementary and middle schools
This morning workshop will explore techniques for cultivating an energized learning environment where choristers take ownership in the process. Believing that every child should have the opportunity to share in song, Orff-Schulwerk based singing and vocal development activities for the general music classroom conclude the day. A children’s choir will form the demonstration group.
