Sacred Music

The Bachelor of Music degree in Sacred Music is designed for those students who want to pursue a career as a church musician. There are three tracks in this degree program: piano, organ and voice.

The program in Sacred Music contains the core music courses in music performance, ensembles (including accompanying), music theory, ear training, and musicology. Students will also take courses in the History of Christian Music, religious studies, organ literature, keyboard harmony, conducting, and vocal pedagogy.  Students in the program will also have an internship in a local church in their senior year.
