Paul Hindemith’s popular Symphonic Metamorphosis highlights the program, along with a continued tribute to Gustav Mahler (1860-1911) with Blumine, the deleted movement from his First Symphony. Guest Bassoonist Steven V. Ingle performs Carl Maria von Weber’s Andante und Rondo Ungarese, while Guest Conductor Anthony Parnther leads the concert.
