Welcome to The UT Clarinet Studio

Welcome to The University of Tennessee Clarinet Studio. We hope this sight will answer questions and give an insight into the life of a clarinet student at UTK. The exciting tradition of our studio includes concert performances in Tokyo, Japan, Puerto Rico, and many high schools across the state of Tennessee. We are especially excited about our upcoming tour of China in the spring of 2011 with the UT Clarinet Choir!

Students receive personalized attention from two professional clarinet professors and one graduate assistant. A hands-on approach to performing through a combination of private lessons, group lessons and master classes will help to develop each students’ unique goals.

Prospective students are encouraged to visit the UT-Knoxville campus and meet our clarinet faculty. We can arrange a tour of the facilities as well as arrange for interested students to visit classes, lessons, ensembles, and even participate in an ensemble rehearsal. Students are welcome and encouraged to schedule a lesson with one of our clarinet faculty. This can greatly help in making a decision about attending the UT School of Music.
