Community Outreach
Choral Activities at the University of Tennessee supports in part the activities of the Knoxville Children's Choir. Since its founding in 1996, this choir has served hundreds of children, providing them with quality musical instruction and unique performance opportunities. The Knoxville Children's Choir believes that creative arts enhance the quality of life and elevate the human spirit. To this end the mission of the choir is to educate and to nurture the artistic talents of young musicians, to develop self-esteem through achievement of worthwhile goals, and to foster a lifelong appreciation of all of the cultural arts.
